As a senior employee (m/f/d) in parking lot operations at the foot of the world-famous Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau castles, you will not only manage our parking lot team, but also be the first point of contact for our guests and tourists from all over the world. You will help, inform, organize and ensure that every encounter on our grounds is characterized by warmth and professionalism. Our family-run company Müller Hohenschwangau, specializing in hotel and gastronomy, classic souvenir sales as well as watch and jewelry trade, is looking for a committed Head Employee (m/f/d) for the parking lot operation to strengthen our team at the foot of the castles Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau.
 

Your TASKS:

• Responsible management and organization of the entire parking lot operation
• Management, training and scheduling of the parking lot team
• Reception committee and first point of contact for tourists and guests: you greet our visitors with a friendly “Welcome!” and assist them with questions such as “How do I get to the castle?” or “Where can I buy tickets?” to give them the perfect start to their stay.
• Ensuring safety and quality standards across the entire parking area
• Efficient use and optimization of the parking area and continuous improvement of internal processes
• Coordination and instruction of cars and coaches (approx. 220 parking spaces) to ensure smooth handling even during the high season
• Maintenance and care of the parking lot area as well as winter service with wheel loaders for snow removal and gritting work during the cold months - flexibility in weather conditions is a must.

Your PROFILE:

• Experience in a management role, ideally in parking lot management or a related field
• Enjoy guest service: you appreciate providing help and advice to tourists and guests and see yourself as a host and important first point of contact.
• Communication and teamwork skills as well as organizational talent and solution orientation
• Basic knowledge of PC applications (an advantage)
• Enjoy working outdoors with a retreat in the heated parking lot building
• Good knowledge of German and at least basic knowledge of English to communicate with international guests
